Nick has been leading the club since its conception in 2017.

The president is to: preside at all club meetings and events as Chairman, enforce the Code of Conduct, and act as liaison with other clubs, event hosts, vendors, and the public in general, unless this duty is expressly given to someone else in special cases.

Since 2025, Noah has sat on the board as one of Steelhead WMAs first two Junior Board Members.

Junior board members are voting board members who provide input and discussion during board meetings; they have no other assign responsibilities.

Brian has been the club's first Designated Reported since 2024.

The Designated Reporter is the point of contact for anonymous and non-anonymous reports for code of conduct violations, safety concerns, etc. This person will be elected by a simple majority vote by all active members in good standing, but can be removed via a simple majority vote if they themselves are found to be violating the Code of Conduct or fall out of good standing. This role may not be held by an active board member.

Since 2025, Adam has served as the Steelhead WMA's second Treasurer.

 

The treasurer is to: maintain bank accounts for club funds, collect dues, pay all bills, and file/maintain necessary tax forms.

Since 2025, Dan has sat on the board as one of Steelhead WMAs first two Junior Board Members.

Claire is the first Outreach Coordinator the club has had; she has served since 2024.

The Outreach Coordinator is to work with the board to create, run, and serve as a point of contact for events aimed beyond the HEMA community, such as educational, recruitment, festivals, etc. They will be selected by a simple majority vote from the board and may be removed in the same manner. This role may be held by an active board member.

Since 2023, Deane has served as the Steelhead WMA's third Secretary.

 

The secretary is to record the minutes of board meetings, maintain a roster, and keep new-member forms. They are also to collect dues and pay bills in the absence of the Treasurer.

Ken has been with Steelhead WMA since 2019, and has been repeatedly appointed to the director role by the Board ever since he first stepped up to the challenge.

The director is to oversee day to day operations, such as member sign-ins and equipment handling. The director will be selected by a simple majority vote from the board, and may not be an acting board member.
