The Intro to Messer class provides an entry-level introduction to HEMA while teaching the principles of the German Langes Messer.  For this class we will be using the Jobst Von Württemberg manuscript, which is an earlier text than the standard Lecküchner text, and provides a solid introduction to basic skills with the messer. 
Steelhead WMA will provide students with practice messers for in class instruction.

It is expected that all students purchase their own fencing mask by the end of the eight week Intro course.
